Where would we be without books? Nowhere, that's where.

The Good Girl - Mary Kubica

Im shocked that Mary Kubica is a debut author. From the first chapter I was drawn into the story and suspense. The characters were real and believable. Overall, a very good story. However, I felt it was a liiiiiiiittle drawn out and by the end i was getting muy muy bored. Also it was almost entirely predicable. Except for the end. The end was what made it worth reading. So if you're looking for a mystery/thriller thats not to stressful, I would recommend this. If you're looking for a Gone Girl, you might be disappointed

Pushing the Limits - Katie McGarry

I dont get why so many people like this book. It was like every other teen book out there. It wasnt bad but it wasnt like " Wow, im gonna go rethink my life now" It was meh

The Scorch Trials - James Dashner

This book, unfortunately, was among the other disappointing sequels to amazing first books. The beginning started out good. It was intriguing and a bit gory,  with bodies hanging from the ceiling and flesh eating metal balls. But i felt after a while the book starting to drag and my head starting to droop. Seriously, it got very boring. Thomas began to grate on my nerves and overall the plot was slowing down. The end was the reason i gave the book 3 stars instead of 1. the battle was very similar to that with the greivers but different enough to keep me reading. I will read the second one, maybe, if i can get around to it.
